"The Memorial Tear, a symbol that came out of a lengthy period of grief in my life, was not an idea, but an experience of God's love during a painful time. Early one morning while working on new designs, I found myself drawing the shape of a tear, over and over. I placed a rose from another piece on top of the tear and realized I was looking at a symbol of my love and loss." ~ Kathy Bernu
