Unlike most mother's items, you can have your local jeweler set future stones when the need arises. And with this piece, you don't "trade-in" your sentimental keepsake when stones are added because 12 total flower/prong settings are already in place. If only a few stones are required, you can also have this piece set with multiples of the same month to fill the flowers.
